Pros: Battery lasts longer than earlier Ipods unless you have one of faulty units.
Cons: A pretty face, worse sound, lots of bug and video blocking--what's to like
The Bottom Line: Some pretty features, but bugs, worse sound from new codec chip, and hardware problems backed by not so hot service make this one to avoid. Lots of brands out there.

Pros: Video playlists, lots of third-party support.
Cons: No FM, no mic, no recording, no folder support, limited file support, older accessories obsolete
The Bottom Line: The iPod is trendy, pretty, overpriced and scratches easily. ITunes sucks. Unless you need video-playlist support, there are plenty of better PMPs on the market, most of them.
